This research paper will explore how vitamins contribute to human health. It will discuss the role of vitamins in the body and how they help maintain good health. Additionally, this paper will look at the different types of vitamins and their respective benefits. Finally, it will examine the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for each vitamin and how deficiencies can lead to health problems.
Vitamins are essential nutrients that the body needs to function properly. They play a vital role in many biochemical processes and are necessary for good health. There are 13 essential vitamins that humans need to survive, and these can be divided into two groups: water-soluble and fat-soluble vitamins.
Water-soluble vitamins are not stored in the body and need to be consumed daily. These include vitamins C and the B-complex vitamins (thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, pantothenic acid, biotin, vitamin B6, folate, and vitamin B12). Fat-soluble vitamins are stored in the body’s fatty tissue and do not need to be consumed daily. These include vitamins A, D, E, and K.
